Sai miracle during our trip to Pittsburgh Sai temple

As mentioned in my previous posts, we moved from Boston to Phoenix after my husband found new employment at phoenix. Since we paid for relocation, we were waiting for all the money to get reimbursed from his office so that we can plan a trip to visit the Sai temple at Pittsburgh.

With Sai's blessings, we were finally able to get our relocation money reimbursed from my husbands office. And very true to the vision that my daughter had, we were witness to Sai blessings and miracles during our Pittsburgh visit.

With Baba's grace we reached Pittsburgh Sai temple just before the shej arthi and were at complete peace to be in presence of baba. I really wanted to click a picture of Baba's idol in the temple, but when I reached there, I realized that photography was not allowed in the temple. I was a little disappointed, but happy still because we could be in the temple. Next morning we again went to the temple for kakkad arthi. There I met Padmaja who helps in the temple and runs the daily activity. It must have been baba's leela that we started talking to each other and we started to exchange all baba's miracles we have witnessed in our lives. She said she wants to sit with us and talk more about baba when we come back for madhyan arti. We went back to the hotel, had breakfast and came back for madhyan arti. Some how she was very busy during that time and whenever we would try to sit and talk, she would be called for some temple work and our stories kept getting interrupted. Still we decided to wait for as long as it takes and hear more baba's stories.

At that time, Mr. Pandu Mallaya, the person who made this temple came in for some puja. He walked straight upto me asked me if i have camera. I said, I do. He said, he is doing some special puja for someone, and requested me to take some pictures of the Baba in the temple. I was delighted. I could not believe my ears. Just the day before, I wanted to click a picture of Baba and today I was being allowed to do so.

I was so happy, because it was a blessing from Baba. Had we not met Padmaja in the morning and had she been not so busy in the afternoon, we would have never met Mr. Pandu mallaya and I wouldn't have got an opportunity to take Baba's picture. I truly believe that Baba wanted to come back home with me in this form and that is why he presented me with this opportunity. The series of events that led upto me getting the permission to click Baba's pictures has to be his blessings and his leela's.
It was a miracle I witnessed and I feel truly blessed for the same. The image in this post is the picture that I clicked on Baba in the temple.

Sai Baba gave a vision to my 6 yr old daughter...

As mentioned in my previous posts, my husband got a new job with the grace of Sri Sai. We decided that we will visit the Sai temple in Pittsburgh as soon as we get all the money reimbursed that we used for the relocation. One morning my daughter woke up and told us that she had a dream about Sai Baba and where He asked her to follow Him and He has a surprise for all of us. My daughter being just 6 could not remember any more of the dream and we were trying to figure out what does "follow Him" meant. We decided that maybe He was just reminding us about the visit to the Pittsburgh trip. I was little confused and I prayed to Sai to tell us what exactly he meant by that.

The next night, I dreamt that we were on our way to the Sai temple and when I woke up, i thought how would that be possible. We still haven't got approval for our money to get reimbursed from my husband's office. How are we going to arrange for the finances for the trip. In a few minutes, my husband walked up to me and told me that we got approval for the reimbursement and in some days we should get the money.

I was so happy to hear that. It was Sri Sai's leela that he gave my daughter a vision made it possible for us to ultimately plan for the trip.

We are just waiting for the money to come in now and hopefully, with Sai's blessings we will be able to visit Him soon.

Sai Baba appeared in dream and cured...

A while back my friend's mother was diagnosed with cancer of the lungs.
She immediately had to undergo surgery as the first stage of treatment. My friend and other other members of the family went to the Sai temple in kolkata India. My friend's mother was not aware of this. However that night she had a vision of Sai Baba in her dreams. She saw him calling her towards him lovingly and gave her a coconut in her hand and blessed her. She narrated this vision of Sai in her dreams to her family many days after her surgery.

Subsequently she was operated and has been doing fine for over two yrs now. She has to go through treatment but at least she is fine and is able to move about independently.

It was only because of Sai's blessings that she is fine today. Sai appeared in her dreams and cured her and gave her life.

Sai baba, we bow to you. Please never leave us. Always have your loving hands blessing us and guiding us.

Saptah Parayan method (सप्ताह परायण विधि )

As mentioned in my previous post, I have always been benefited with the miraculous powers of doing a saptah parayan (सप्ताह परायण) and I would like to share the same with all Sai bhakts.

सप्ताह परायण involves reading the Sai Satcharita in one week. We start reading it on a Thursday and finish reading it next Wednesday. Every morning after a bath, light incense infront of Baba's photo and ask for Baba's blessings to be able to do saptah parayan successfully. You can read the book anywhere if you do not have a temple at home. Just make sure that when you are reading the book, your mind is not distracted by things around you. I usually try to make some prasad for Baba during the day and offer it to him.

Try to read 7 chapters every day. Either you can read all the seven chapters all at once in the morning or you can read it through out the day at your convenience. The idea being that your mind should be devoted to Baba during the day. Have Baba in your thoughts and your speech.

Day 1 Ch 1-6
Day 2 Ch 7-13
Day 3 Ch 14-22
Day 4 Ch 23-28
Day 5 Ch 29-35
Day 6 Ch 36-42
Day 7 Ch 43-51

If you cannot read seven chapters on some day for some reason, its alright. Just try to complete the book reading by the end of 7 days.

The last chapter of Sai Satcharita explains in detail about सप्ताह परायण. It covers
पूजा (Prayer)
फला श्रुति (Reward of study of Sai Satcharita) and
प्रसाद याचना (Offering of prasad)

Focus on trying to understand the stories and not on trying to read it all up like a task to be done. Try not to say anything bad to anyone. You would notice that reading it gets done faster than you imagined.

After you complete reading the book, place 2 coins infront of Baba as offering signifying श्रद्धा (Shraddha) and सबुरी (Saburi).
At the end of seven days you will definitely get a vision from Baba and witness the miracle that you were hoping for.
I usually get a vision from Baba in my sleep one day before my saptah ends and it gives me enormous peace of mind and strength.

Always remember that we may ask for many things from Baba, but Baba knows what is best for us and will give us what is best for us.

Sai Baba helped us get a job...

About a month back my husband was told by his employers that they might be terminating his employment in a month. Since we are in US and on an H1 visa, it seemed like an extremely difficult situation. It seemed like we will have to go back to India and possibly look for a job there.

The next day my husband and I went to the Shirdi Sai Baba temple at Baldwin, NY. We prayed really hard and asked Baba to set things fine for us. We asked him to take us out of this difficult situation.

We got back home and with full faith in Baba we started to apply to various places. Next morning, i sat in front of Baba's picture and i just cried out and asked Baba to show me a way, to help me out.

I don't know what got into me, but i just logged into a job site and the first thing i saw was an opening in one of the firms my husband had always wanted to work for but couldn't ever work. I immediately thought that this is where Sai is pointing to. Could this be true? All this suffering and pain is just so that my husband shakes off his inertia and tries to do something about getting into the company that he always wanted to work for. His dream job. I had full faith in Baba and i somehow thought that this is where he will finally work.

I got in touch with a friend of mine who worked there and she mentioned that the firm was currently hiring a lot of people and maybe my husband should also apply. We sent the resume and heard from the HR to schedule for an interview. This could be only Baba's leela.

But Baba's leela just didn't end there. My husband needed time to prepare for this interview as it was for a different job role than what he was currently working as. Baba again showed his leela.

For some reason the firm couldn't schedule the interview for 3 weeks but during this time my husband gave many other interviews and that gave him enough practice for the dream job interview. One day all of a sudden, he got scheduled for interview with this firm and in two days he was presented with an offer which he readily accepted. If all goes well he should be joining them in 15 days from now. Its all Baba's leela that we are almost out of these troubled times.

With Baba's blessings things are going to be great soon. Baba always helps if u ask for help. He will make you work for the rewards but he will give u the rewards if he sees the intent and the hard work.

During this time I did satcharitra Parayan twice. Once I couldn't complete but the next time with Baba's grace, i could complete it in time. Satcharitra parayan is so powerful that all wishes always come true.

Shirdi Sai Baba cured my mother...

With great humility i wish to share this story of sai baba curing my mother of her tumor.

In 2008 sept my mother was diagnosed with a tumor in her brain. The doctors were very sure that it was cancerous and she probably doesn't have more than a couple of months to live. They asked us to take her back home from the hospital as they said that there is not much they can do for her. Let her be at home in her last few days. We got my mother back home and at around this time my husband suggested that we should go to shirdi and pray for her.

We went to shirdi the next day and we offered our prayers to baba. We went and lit incense near the dhuni on the Thursday and prayed for my mothers health and well being. After offering the prayers, we felt that sai baba is assuring us that our mother will be fine. We came back home and that evening a very old friend of ours called us up and told us that he used to go to a neurologist who was very good and maybe we should take his opinion too. We thought that this must be sai's leela and that sai is showing us a way.

We took our mothers reports to this neurosurgeon. Initially he too was convinced that there could nothing be done for my mother, but he did say that he wasnt 100% sure if nothing can be done. He thought that there is still a slight chance that the tumor may not be cancerous. He asked us to get my mother to his hospital.

Over the next one month, my mother was in the hospital, and various tests were being done and different treatments were tried on her. She started to show improvement and the tumor in her brain did not show any more growth. That is when the doctor said that she would recover, it would take time, but she would be fine.

Its been two years since she got out of the hospital and she is still under medication but she is very healthy, she walks around, takes care of herself and us and does not show any trace of ever being so ill in her life.

Its only with sai;s grace that my mother is with us today. I believe that it was sai who showed us the way and who was always with us and gave us our mother back.
